Let’s start the year off right with an amazing morning of grounding, peace and balance in a raw and beaitiful space both physically and spiritually. Borrow is thrilled to host two amazing friends- Alicia Hansen Writing & Yoga as well as Amy Basha Contetsco: Wellness Advocate, Lover, Believer + Sharer of Oils.
Amy Basha Contetsco will start off with an intro into natural oils and how they can better our lives. She has 10+ years of real life experience leading people, training, coaching + developing teams, and running a multi-million dollar business. Not to mention, 36 years of trying, failing, succeeding, learning, growing, falling down, and getting back up – every single time. She has extensive experience with goal coaching, core value work, facilitation, leadership: for you, for your team + for your organization, change management, and mindfulness. She is incredibly passionate about natural, plant-based tools, products + remedies and would like to help everyone she connects with remove toxins + chemicals from their homes.
Alicia Hansen began dabbling in yoga in college as a part of a newly found healthy lifestyle and weight loss journey. She earned her 200-hour certification in 2012 and in the spring of 2014, enrolled in the ParaYoga Master Training Program. She has spent close to two hundred hours in advance training sessions with ParaYoga’s founder, Yogarupa Rod Stryker. Alicia’s classes provide a well-rounded, complete practice appropriate for all levels of practitioners while sharing concepts that can be applied during a yoga class or in the world off your mat.
Alicia will share a slow burn yoga practice – a form of yoga that moves slower than traditional vinyasa flow classes, with an emphasis on taking more time in poses, deeper breathing & meditation – all while stimulating circulation throughout the body. After approximately 60 minutes of slow burn, Alicia will guide you in the experience of Yoga Nidra (also known as yogic sleep), a profound relaxation and guided meditation technique practiced for approx. 20-25 minutes while in rest in savasana.
